That hurts kick a man while he is down. I need to make it to one of these TT. They are great for making you ride faster. When you put in an all out effort like a time trial you see the results on later rides. Although I hate time trials because no matter how you slice it they hurt and you can never hide from the wind. Nothing like riding in a big ole pack and drafting. However, on the other side I have seen my best improvements in speed come from time trialing.

Charles “TT-Master” Allen will not be at the Thursday night ITT on Hwy 108. My Thursday ride will be a 1hr ride with 4×9min intervals at watts threshold. I doubt I will have anything left for an ITT Thursday evening. Hope there is a good turnout.

The 2010 Tour de Fireant will be held Saturday, Oct. 9 at 9 a.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m. All riders will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt and goodie bag. Pre-registration is $25 through Oct. 5, and $30 any day after that and the day of the ride. 10 mi-100K routes. Door prizes, including a Trek mountain bike, and trophies will be awarded. Free pizza and beer following the ride.
