The dates have been set for our club races…….September 11th and 12th 2010. The Coleman Chevrolet Classic is on Saturday the 11th in Douglassville and the Little River Challenge will be in Ashdown on the 12th. We are looking forward to it very much!!!! More details will come later!!

HELP!!!! I need 10 volunteers help on the bike course for the 4 States Triathlon here in Texarkana on Sunday, Mmay 16th. I committed ECC to help out T3 with their sprint tri this year. This tri has been voted as one of the best in this region, and this is a GREAT opportunity for ECC to help and be recognized by all of the participants. The next installment of the 108 ITT series has been moved to April 11th. Change due to Easter,
This weekend, daylight savings time ends (or starts I can never remember) and we will begin our Tuesday and Thursday night ride schedule again! Tues @ 6:30pm Meet at Rest stop on Hwy 71n just north of Hwy 108. Groups will be of a few different speeds. Thurs @ Berridge Bikes @ 6pm this is a faster ride of about 25 miles. Everyone is welcome to come! We will also have maps available of the ride routes beginning March 23rd. See you THERE!!!

Our very own John “MTB” Ashby competed in the Spa City Extreme Mt. Bike Race in Hot Springs, AR this past Saturday. As always….he represented Team Edge with stellar results placing 48th overall out of 79 (including pros) and 10th out of 15 in his age group! He completed 5 laps (a total of 50 miles….on a MTB!!) in 5:59:22. Very impressive John! You make us proud.
